How to care for my child's teeth.
1. Avoid drinks high in sugar (soda, juice, flavored milk) unless it is mealtime.
2. Help your child brush each and every night just before bedtime.
3. Use a toothpaste that is ADA aproved and contains flouride.
4. Tell them positive stories about the dentist and dental care.

Instructions for care after having a tooth removed.
1. Maintain firm pressure with the guaze you were given when leaving the office for at least two hours.
2. Do not swish or spit until the day after your tooth was removed.
3. Avoid hot or crunchy foods. Do NOT drink through a straw.
4. Take all medications as directed by the Doctor and Staff.

Instructions for care after having a filling or crown placed.
1. It is normal for your tooth and the injection site to be a little sore, this will improve if you take the manufacturer's recommended dose of an over the counter pain medicine for a day or two.
2. Cold sensitivity is a sign of inflamation, a healthy tooth will recover from this swelling and your symptoms will dissappear in a few days to a few weeks.
3. Changes to the biting surface of a tooth will feel strange for a day or two. If your bite feels unusual or uncomfortable for more that three days call us so it can be adjusted.
4. If you break or have lost your temporary crown please call us to discuss fabricating a new one.
